1999 - 2009: Ten Years with Glasgow the Caring City

Glasgows Aid Agency

Glasgow the Caring City celebrates its 10th Anniversary in 2009 and we want to share these celebration with you.

2009 will be a year of events, celebrations and fun for everyone involved with our organisation and we want you, our friends, to be part of this special year.

Of course the ongoing work of Glasgow the Caring City will continue across this year but our main focus for 2009, here in Scotland, is 'Homecoming'. We want to bring our projects how and say 'well done to the volunteers, sponsors, friends and donors' who have helped us along the way in 2009.

So, the message for 2009 is simple 'Celebrate and be part of our Homecoming' party.

Fundraise for Glasgow the Caring City

Volunteering Update

The people of Glasgow are some of the most generous in the world. Typically, if we ask for a penny they will donate a pound but we like to make donating to our charity fun and exciting.

In our 10th Anniversary year we are rolling back the clock and challenging you to come up with some ‘old-school’ fundraising event in aid our charity.

We are talking about Cake Bakes, Sponsored Walks, Sponsored Silence and the good old fashioned leg wax. We want you to roll back the clock ten years and party likes its 1999 all in aid of Glasgow the Caring City and our wonderful projects here in Glasgow and around the world.

Go on let that inner-child escape and let’s put the Fun back in Fundraising.
