Objectives

•To respond to specific gaps in the social economy of the West of Scotland in conjunction with partners from the public sector.

•To respond in times of emergency or national concern, applying all necessary available resources where and when required.

•To address specific issues in countries around the world and work towards relieving those issues and providing sustainable solutions.

•To advocate on behalf of the most deprived in the global community and provide fair and honest assessment of their needs.

•To work in partnership with global partners to provide a fast, efficient and responsive aid distribution network.

•To work with local partners to provide fast, efficient and responsive aid packages.

•To adhere to an environmentally ethical policy of waste minimization, maximum efficiency and sustainable development.

•To promote Glasgow and Scotland at a local and Global level, specifically promoting a positive image of multicultural Scotland.

•To operate all of the above aims in a not-for-profit manner, investing 100% of all monies in the work of Glasgow the Caring City International Relief Aid.
