In Zambia Glasgow the Caring City supports the work of Prison Fellowship Zambia.

Through our gifts in kind shipments, in association with World Emergency Relief UK we are able to provide material assets to PFZ who support and enhance the quality of life for prisoners and their families.

In a typical example of PFZ's work, the family of a man committed to long term imprisonment will be supported for the during of the man sentence. As is common the man will be the man earner in the family and as such once his freedom to earn has been withdrawn so too his is families ability to survive.

PFZ also support prisoners and their families when they have left jail. As families strive to rebuild their lives they can draw upon the support of education projects, feeding programs and domestic material support too.

GtCC proudly supports such a wonderful project and looks forward to developing our relationship in the future.
